Zone Film Institute

Zfi is a program of The Salvation Army that supports and encourages the faith and creativity of youth through film education. In partnership with organizations, churches, and the film industry, we look for opportunities to connect faith, film, and service in a dynamic combination of exceptional art and friendship.

Together we explore the world of film, open to the tension between hope and reality, rooted in the history and work of The Salvation Army. As a community of creative professionals and local families we expand our view of the world through the art of cinema.

ZFI education programs include a youth film school, movie screenings, and the creation of film education materials promoting an active role for Christians in creating, responding to, and reflection on contemporary film.
